Our mission goes far beyond hair care. We are here to:

– by supporting communities and charities that uplift those in need, especially in Punjab and beyond.
– by honouring the role of grandparents and the wisdom, love, and strength they bring into our lives.
These are the foundations of Thaari — a brand built not only on natural wellness, but on compassion, heritage, and service.
Giving back
Giving back has always been at the core of what we do. Every year, I return to Punjab — the home of my grandparents and my heart — to carry out meaningful charity work. It’s a deeply personal mission inspired by the values they lived by: compassion, service, and community.
My grandparents spent their lives quietly helping others in Punjab, and continuing their legacy is one of the most important aspects of this business. Through this work, I hope to not only honour them, but also contribute to rebuilding and uplifting Punjab, particularly in the areas of healthcare, education, and support for the homeless.
In February 2024, I had the privilege of:
-128 cataract surgeries for patients in need
-Manukhta Seva Di Society, donation towards their hospital building fund
-Clothes and financial support to Unique Homes Jalandhar
While Punjab will always be our priority, the spirit of giving doesn’t stop there. Guided by my grandparents' example, we strive to help anyone in need, wherever they may be.
My business is not just about hair care — it's a platform for purpose, community, and carrying forward a legacy of kindness.
Unique Home Jalandhar
A Sanctuary for Abandoned Girls
Unique Home Orphanage for Girls in Jalandhar is a sanctuary for children who have been abandoned by society — often for no reason other than being born female. It is run by the Bhai Ghanayya Ji Charitable Trust, named after the compassionate disciple of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and is committed to giving these girls a future filled with dignity, opportunity, and love.
At the heart of this seva is Bibi Prakash Kaur, the life-time managing trustee of the trust. Her devotion to the children is unwavering, even in her older age. She has dedicated her life to rehabilitating those whom society has cast aside, and continues to inspire all with her strength, compassion, and relentless service.
The home provides not just shelter, but also education, emotional support, and life skills to help these young girls grow into empowered individuals who can stand confidently on their own.
We are proud to support this beautiful mission, and it is our honour to contribute in any way we can to a place that truly reflects the values of care, equality, and community.
Human Appeal
Thaari attended and donated to a charity event to help raise money for Syrian refugees and Lebanon in 2023.
Compton Hospice
We also make monthly donations to a hospice in Wolverhampton who care for cancer patients and those with life limiting conditions.
Women's Charitable Causes
We have attended multiple charity events to help raise and donate money for their specific causes (such as women empowerment and support for domestic abuse victims).
